Note 2 has been my primary phone since 2012

My Note 2 Phone

Hello guys, i have been using my note 2 since december 2012. During that time the note 2 was the phone to have and everyone that i came across was facinated and talking about it. It had the best specs and features among the phones that were at sale and soon became the phone of choice for many, including myself. Among the tons of new features and capabilities that it boasted, the amount of processing cores and RAM were the key performance metrics that caught my attention. It came with 4 processing cores and 2 giga bytes of RAM. Furthermore, the 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors gave such a overwhelming viewing experiene that you suddenly lose the sense of time. Screen resolution of 720 by 1280 was pretty darn good but not that great in today's tems. Until then, i was using a Sony Ericsson Neo V and going from that to a Note 2 was such a leap in specs that it was so exhilarating.

Shopping for phone cases

Next i went on to shop for cases and due to obvious reasons it was difficult to find a decent case for it since it was so new to the market. I searched the internet and came across an company called otterbox that sold sturdy cases for my phone. Youtube videos that showcased drop tests where they drop the phone from roof tops and still manage to withstand without breaking apart really blew me away. The original otterbox defender case that i used did not manage to survive beyond 3 years. The outer cover began to sag and the clips that held the inside cover together started to lose strength so i decided to purchase a new otterbox case. Luckily there were Note 2 otterbox defender cases for sale for reasonalbly good prices on ebay so i purchased one and i am quite happy with it.

Phone speed

My phone received a few original updates from Samsung over the years and i am currenly running Android 4.4.2. Although OS updates and individual app updates have made my phone a little bit slower i do not consider moving to a new phone anytime soon.
